Versatile Midfielder Adds Depth to Squad

Arsenal has signed German international Kai Havertz from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee. Havertz, who can play as an attacking midfielder or forward, becomes Arsenal's first signing of the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old played for Bayer Leverkusen before joining Chelsea in 2020. He has won two Premier League titles, a UEFA Champions League, and a UEFA Super Cup during his time with the Blues.

Havertz is a versatile player who can create chances, score goals, and provide defensive cover. He is expected to add depth to Arsenal's squad and compete with the likes of Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe, and Bukayo Saka for a starting spot.
